Unique Experience
Here at Winterberry Farm, your children will experience hands-on learning at our 30 acre farm,
in Brookline, New Hampshire. In our day camp, we teach self-reliance by going back to the basics and to traditional
American skills. On a limited basis, we will pick your children up and return them at the end of the day to a
prearranged, central location. Fee required.
At the farm, they will learn many animal-oriented skills like how to gather eggs, feed and milk the cows, groom and
ride the ponies, play with small goats, and become acquainted with sheep and the many uses of their wool. They will
grow an organic garden, from starting the seeds to preserving the harvest.
In addition to traditional farming, the campers will participate in a number of manual arts such
as Native American crafts in our authentic teepees, woodworking classes and a variety of building projects. Lots of
fun and educational, age appropriate activites for all, including games, hay rides and swimming!
Our spacious Victorian home welcomes the children into a kitchen where they will be given the unique opportunity to
enjoy cooking, take part in seasonal activities and participate in other useful and fun-filled projects that they
may take home.
